Who you are booking with

Xperiences is operated by Xperiences HQ Pty Ltd, ACN 653 314 713, ABN 33 653 314 713. Our base is XperiencesHQ, inside Twin Waters Resort, 270 Ocean Drive, Twin Waters QLD 4564.

We are a small family business running our own acre at Twin Waters. When you book, we roster our crew and hold the ground for you, so these terms exist to make the commitment clear in both directions - what we owe you, and what you owe us.

Prices

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

Online bookings are taken through FareHarbor, which charges an online booking fee. The all-up figure shown beside each price is the total you pay at checkout, including that fee.

Optional extras (cammo hire, bandanas, drinks, extra ammunition) are priced separately and are only charged if you choose them.

Group prices for four and for ten players are one booking, made and paid for by one person. Individual bookings cannot be combined to reach a group price.

Payment - no pay, no play

Private bookings - birthdays, bucks and hens days, kids' parties and family groups - are confirmed by payment of the full amount.

Corporate and group bookings are confirmed by a 50% deposit. The balance is due 14 days before the event.

Bookings made less than 14 days before the event are payable in full at the time of booking.

We do not hold dates or reserve places on an unpaid booking. An enquiry, a quote or a verbal agreement holds nothing - payment is what secures the date.

Payment may be made by bank transfer or card. Where you pay by transfer, sending us the remittance secures the date.

Participant numbers

The number of participants confirmed at final payment is your minimum.

Extra participants are welcome with at least 48 hours notice and subject to availability. Tell us and we will add them and invoice the difference.

Reductions after final payment do not change the fee. Our crew is rostered to your booking and places do not resell at short notice.

Cancellation

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. These charges apply to every booking - leisure sessions, parties and corporate events alike - as a percentage of the total fee.

More than 30 days before the event: 25% of the total fee.

11 to 30 days before the event: 50% of the total fee.

10 days or less before the event: 100% of the total fee.

In all cases, 100% of any external supplier costs committed on your behalf - venue hire, catering, special equipment, transfers - will be charged where Xperiences HQ Pty Ltd is liable for them.

Changing your date

More than 30 days before the event: one date change at no charge, subject to availability.

30 days or less: we will move you once and your full payment transfers to the new date. A $150 re-rostering fee applies, as the crew is already booked for your original day.

A second change is treated as a cancellation and the bands above apply.

Weather

In the event of rain we still go ahead. Marquees and other shelter are provided where suitable. Dress for the weather and bring a change of clothes.

In dangerous conditions Xperiences HQ Pty Ltd will cancel or postpone the event. That decision is ours to make. Where we cancel, you receive a full refund.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. They must be provided with due care and skill, be fit for any purpose we have agreed, and be delivered within a reasonable time. If they are not, you are entitled to a remedy.

Nothing in these terms - including the cancellation schedules above - excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.

How you accept these terms

Paying your deposit, or paying your invoice in full, confirms your booking and means you have accepted the terms on this page.

Every participant also signs the Acknowledgement, Release and Indemnity form before taking part - it is sent with your invoice.

On the day

Minimum ages: archery 8, axe throwing 12, paintball 15. Gel blasting and kids' parties are all ages.

Enclosed shoes are required for every activity, and staff safety instructions must be followed on the field and range.

Paintball play ends when your paintballs run out. Session lengths given for paintball are a guide, not a guarantee.

If you arrive late, the missed time cannot be added back.
